Chihuahua Fur
Chihuahuas in Two Varieties!
There are two types of coats on a Chihuahua. There are short haired Chihuahuas and long haired Chihuahuas. There is no difference between these types of Chihuahuas beside their fur. They will have the same temperament, health issues, feeding requirements, etc.
Fur issues can happen to either type of Chihuahua; however with a long haired Chihuahua, you will notice this more.
The most common fur issues is when a Chihuahua begins to lose fur. This can send a dog owner into a panic. A Chihuahua may lose fur in patches and cause worry to their owners.
