A Guide for Chihuahua Puppies For Sale - A Must Read!
Pet Stores

Should you get your Chihuahua puppy from a pet store?  The store looks bright & happy...the sale people are very nice & kind...and the puppies, they look so cute!  Sometimes, a person will wander into a pet store, see those cute "Puppy Dog Eyes" and make a spontaneous purchase without thinking it through.  What could be wrong about this?

Did you ever wonder where pet stores actually get the Chihuahua puppies for sale?   When a car dealer needs cars to sell, the cars are supplied from a large automobile manufacturer.   The same is true for pet stores.  When a pet store needs Chihuahua puppies for sale, they go to large puppy manufacturers.  And these puppy factories are called Puppy Mills.
  • The dogs are forced to breed
  • Fed cheap, generic dog food (those are the lucky ones)
  • Given zero love & affection - they are never hugged, kissed or cuddled
  • The Chihuahua puppies never know any other feeling on their paws other than the cold steel cage
  • Stacked in crates, one on top of the other, living in feces and urine
  • The puppies are never socialized
  • Litters are produced from unhealthy and uncared for dogs
  • Chihuahua puppies for sale at pet stores almost always have a life time of health issues, one after the other
Let's take a look at exactly where pet stores obtain their Chihuahua puppies:

These are tame photos of Mills.  We chose to leave out the shocking ones.  As you can see conditions are disgusting, filthy & so unhealthy.  Do you really want to buy from a pet store?  These are their suppliers!

Private Sales

This is risky.  Why?  Because so often with private Chihuahua puppies for sale,  someone will have a Chihuahua...suddenly find themselves with a pregnant Chihuahua...and then want to sell of the litter.

Done in this way, the puppies were not bred properly.   Most often, zero medical testing has been done on both dam and sire.  The dogs were not tested for heredity disease in their bloodline before producing the litter.   There is also a good chance that the puppies are not purebred.  Breeding was done without experience,  great knowledge of the breed, carefully section of dam & sire, and professional breeding methods.

How Do You Find Happy, Healthy Pup?

Answer:  From an ethical, experienced breeder who puts their love of the Chihuahua first!
